Health Insurance Rebates

Acupuncture treatments are included in the coverage of most health funds. Please check the details with your health insurance provider. For Chinese herbal medicine, certain health funds offer rebates. Kindly check with your provider for specifics. Please note that private health funds typically do not provide rebates for online consultations, as they often require in-person appointments. We offer the convenience of HICAPS on-the-spot rebates for private health funds. This allows you to simply pay the “gap amount” for your treatment, eliminating the delay and hassle of manual claims submission. To ensure your insurance policy is eligible for our services, we recommend checking with your private health provider regarding benefits, claims, and waiting period policies before your appointment.

We hold TAC and WorkSafe Victoria provider numbers. For TAC claims: with a valid claim number, we can process your visit under TAC and collect only the gap. For WorkCover cases: with a GP referral, we will issue an itemised receipt including our provider number for you to submit to your WorkSafe agent/insurer. Please confirm your entitlements and any co-payment with your insurer in advance.

NOTES:

1. Please note that a fee for the initial or standard consultation is required, even if treatment is not provided.
2. We kindly request that you inform us as early as possible if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, allowing us to offer the time slot to another patient. Cancellations or rescheduling must be made no later than the day before your appointment during clinic hours. Failure to do so will result in a full fee of $50 being charged.
3. Granule herbs are charged at $15 per day, including two customised herbal sachets daily.
4. Please note that fees may be subject to change without prior notice. For the most up-to-date information, feel free to contact our friendly staff.
5. As per health industry standards, we kindly inform you that Chinese herbal medicine is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged once dispensed. Thank you for your understanding.
